Words Upon Release
A few words upon launching this book.
I once replied to a reader, saying that my original plan for joining this platform was to write historical fiction. This basketball novel was just a spontaneous creation, yet some readers accused me of showing off.
But the reality is truly surreal—I am indeed a historical fiction writer, and this is my first attempt at a basketball story.
You might have noticed from the book that the protagonist’s abilities are rather roughly sketched, with some glaring inconsistencies. This stems from my lack of preparation, and now that the word count has grown, it’s difficult to make significant revisions.
Later on, there will be a system upgrade to make some adjustments.
Some readers have criticized me for not understanding basketball well. I’m a bit embarrassed to admit that their critique isn’t entirely unfounded.
In short, this book has its fair share of issues, but it also has its highlights; otherwise, it wouldn’t have garnered so many devoted readers.
For those dear fans, I’ve decided to pour my heart into finishing this story.
The style of the story will remain consistent—sacrificing some realism to create more lighthearted, fun, humorous, and dramatic scenes that enrich the characters.
For readers who don’t enjoy this style, I can only express my regret.
For those who do, I hope you’ll continue to support the book, perhaps with subscriptions and donations.
A friendly reminder: the official version includes some entertaining chapter comments and illustrations that you won’t find in pirated copies.
