"She was the one who asked me for help!" Ye Tian explained.

"Asked you for help? Nonsense!" Zhou Manyun shot him a sharp glare. "I was just away for a moment. My sister had a sudden attack and needed you to get her medicine from the bag!"

Ye Tian frowned as understanding dawned on him.

"Xiaoxiao, how are you feeling? Any better?" Zhou Manyun supported her sister, carefully feeding her the medicine, her tone full of concern.

"Sis, I..." Zhou Xiaoxiao’s complexion had just eased when her brows suddenly knitted together in pain, her face contorting. "So cold... it hurts! Sis, it feels like my body is filled with icy needles. I can’t take it anymore!"

"How could this happen? Xiaoxiao, hold on, your sister will find someone to cure you!" Zhou Manyun’s eyes reddened, and she hurriedly lifted her sister onto her back, about to head up the mountain. "Wait, you scoundrel—do you know if there’s a legendary healer living on this mountain?"

"First, I’m not a scoundrel. Second, that legendary healer is my fifth master," Ye Tian replied.

"What? The legendary healer is your master?" Zhou Manyun froze, then grew excited. "Then hurry and take me to him!"

"You’ll have to apologize to me first."

"You..." Zhou Manyun was instantly vexed, thinking this man was unbearably petty, but her sister’s life was more important. Biting her lip, she said, "Sir, I’m sorry. You’re a good man, not a scoundrel—will that do?"

"That’s acceptable," Ye Tian nodded.

"Then hurry up and show us the way!" Zhou Manyun stamped her foot in impatience, half-suspecting she was being tricked.

"It’s just a minor ailment. There’s no need to trouble my master. Besides, your sister’s condition can’t wait!" Ye Tian glanced at Zhou Xiaoxiao. "Take off her clothes—I can treat her."

"You? And you want her clothes off?" Zhou Manyun’s suspicion deepened—she was sure this man was a fraud, trying to take advantage.

She was about to lash out when Ye Tian’s voice cut in: "Your sister has suffered from evil energy invading her body since childhood—it’s already reached her organs. The disease is terminal. If you don’t believe me, just wait to collect her corpse."

Zhou Manyun’s body trembled at his words.

A few simple sentences, and Ye Tian had diagnosed her sister’s illness exactly!

"I believe you!" She gritted her teeth. "But it’s not convenient here. Come to the car with me!"

By the roadside, a Mercedes SUV was parked.

Zhou Manyun helped Zhou Xiaoxiao into the car. After a moment’s hesitation, she lifted her sister’s shirt.

A torrent of smooth curves leaped into view.

Even Ye Tian couldn’t help but feel a flicker of heat in his heart.

Fortunately, his seventh master had helped him suppress his affliction. Otherwise, control might have slipped from his grasp.

"What’s next?" Zhou Manyun’s cheeks flushed. Clearly, undressing her own sister in front of a strange man was mortifying.

"Acupuncture," Ye Tian replied, his mind pure and clear as he raised his arm.

Three silver needles flashed and pierced Zhou Xiaoxiao’s chest.

As the needles quivered, threads of blackened impurity began to ooze out.

Zhou Manyun’s face lit up—perhaps this man really wasn’t a charlatan!

Suddenly, the roar of engines and the sound of hurried footsteps erupted.

Ye Tian’s brows furrowed. "You brought company?"

"Company?" Zhou Manyun’s expression changed. "I’ll deal with them—please take care of my sister!"

She turned to see a group of more than a dozen burly men striding toward them.

"Who are you people?" Zhou Manyun demanded.

"Miss Zhou, be good and come with us. You’ll find out soon enough," the leader replied, a hungry gleam in his eyes.

"You... you’re with Xu Manjin, the bandit chief!" Zhou Manyun realized.

"Since you’ve guessed, there’s no need to stall!"

"Never!" Zhou Manyun’s eyes flashed coldly as she struck first.

Bang!

A cry rang out.

In moments, her graceful figure was sent flying.

Though Zhou Manyun knew some martial arts, she was no match for a dozen hardened bandits.

In less than two moves, she was defeated.

Ye Tian caught her easily, draping a piece of clothing over Zhou Xiaoxiao to shield her.

"Sir, I’ll hold them off—please take my sister and go!" Zhou Manyun pleaded anxiously.

"Boss, there’s another man here!" a thug shouted.

The leader’s eyes fell on Zhou Xiaoxiao, disheveled in the car, and he cursed, "So much for the virtuous Zhou sisters—turns out you’re just as wild!"

"Yeah, playing in the wild together, both sisters no less!"

"Might as well let us have some fun..."

"Shut your mouths!" Zhou Manyun, mortified and furious, snapped.

"Then let me have a taste first!" The leader reached out, unable to resist the sisters’ beauty any longer—now that their supposed virtue was shattered, why not indulge?

"You..." Zhou Manyun’s face turned deathly pale, her body frozen.

Smack!

At that critical moment, a sharp crack sounded, followed by a spray of blood.

The leader was sent flying, his head twisted a full hundred and eighty degrees—dead before he hit the ground.

"I very much dislike being interrupted while I treat a patient," Ye Tian said, his tone heavy with displeasure.

The rest of the men shrank in terror.

If they weren’t mistaken, their boss had just been killed by a single slap from Ye Tian!

"You bastard, you ambushed our boss—now you die!"

"Brothers, get him!"

"How dare you oppose the Zhongdu bandits—we’ll make you pay..."

With a roar, the thugs charged.

Ye Tian’s face remained unmoved, his movements swift and graceful as a bird in a storm of blades. Wherever he passed, screams followed.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

Within moments, all the bandits collapsed, lifeless bodies strewn across the ground.

Zhou Manyun stared at his elegant figure, heart pounding. "Handsome... he’s unbelievably handsome!"

"Big sis..." Zhou Xiaoxiao awoke softly.

"Xiaoxiao, you’re awake!" Zhou Manyun rushed to her side. "Thank goodness, you’re all right!"

"But I’m not clean anymore..." Zhou Xiaoxiao burst into tears.

"Ah, well..." Zhou Manyun was a bit embarrassed and comforted her, "Xiaoxiao, doctors don’t distinguish between men and women—he was only treating you, nothing more."

She turned to Ye Tian, offering a respectful bow. "Sir, may I know your name?"

"Ye Tian."

"Ye Tian, thank you for saving us! You cured my sister and saved us both—we owe you a great debt." Zhou Manyun felt the name was familiar, though she couldn’t quite place it.

"Your sister’s illness is only temporarily under control. To cure it fully, more treatment is needed," Ye Tian replied, unconcerned.

"Ye Tian, I beg you, cure my sister completely! Whatever the conditions, I promise to fulfill them! Our Zhou family in Zhongdu may not be a great clan, but we always keep our word!"

"You’re from Zhongdu?" Ye Tian raised an eyebrow.

"Yes!"

"If you want to thank me, give me a ride," Ye Tian said, nodding toward the SUV.
