Long Fei nodded slightly. Gouzi’s reputation was no small matter. On the global assassin rankings, he was one of the very few famous not for his martial arts but for his exceptional skills in investigation and intelligence gathering. Of course, he was also a top-tier hacker—the absolute best. If the world’s network experts knew that Gouzi was their most revered and mysterious “Howling Heaven Dog,” they’d probably foam at the mouth in disbelief. Gouzi was short, his skin as dark as an African’s, and his style looked straight out of the entertainment industry’s rap scene, giving off a non-mainstream vibe. It was hard to believe such a person could be a hacker—let alone the number one hacker, Howling Heaven Dog.

Suddenly, Yang Danni made a quick call home, reminding Long Fei to remember to eat before hurriedly hanging up. Long Fei thought to himself what a dedicated woman she was. Actually, he didn’t want his woman to be too domineering; chasing career success like that felt like invisible pressure to him. Yet, he also didn’t want her to be merely a pretty face, nor did he wish for her to feel unhappy.

No sooner had the call ended than the doorbell rang. Long Fei didn’t need to guess—it had to be Ye Qian. Apart from Yang Danni, only Ye Qian knew he was home. But how she found out was a bit odd.

Long Fei gave Gouzi a sly wink and motioned him to answer the door. He edged closer to Iron Bull, thinking it best to prepare in case that devil Ye Qian came to stir up trouble again—after all, he had hung up on her last night.

“Long Fei, you—” Ye Qian cursed loudly as the door opened, but she froze halfway through her tirade.

The door wasn’t opened by Long Fei, but by a short man she disliked intensely.

Damn, at this age still playing the non-mainstream game? Ye Qian cursed silently, ignoring Gouzi’s beaming smile and stepping back, frowning as she glanced at the floor number. Yes, this was definitely the right place.

“Hey beautiful, who are you looking for? Don’t tell me you’ve got the wrong place?” Gouzi looked lecherous, but in truth, he had zero interest in Ye Qian. To be honest, he had slight tendencies toward men, so women never really stirred him. Luckily, he wasn’t too twisted—he lived a mostly normal life, and if he did act out, it was far away on his targets.

Ye Qian frowned, cautious. “Does Long Fei live here? Who are you?”

“Oh, you’re looking for Brother Fei? You should’ve said so earlier, this is the place!” Hearing that, Gouzi stopped teasing and quickly invited Ye Qian inside, then turned to Long Fei: “Brother Fei, you’ve got a beauty looking for you!”

“He must have the wrong door. I’ve already moved out,” Long Fei teased, knowing Ye Qian had arrived, but readied himself for whatever mischief she might bring.

“Long Fei, finally found you! I’m going to strangle you!” Ye Qian didn’t even notice the towering man beside Long Fei as she lunged at him, full of pent-up anger.

Long Fei dodged and yelled for help, which only excited Ye Qian more as she cursed and charged. But halfway there, Iron Bull intercepted her, grabbing her neck firmly. Iron Bull wasn’t dumb; he knew Ye Qian and Long Fei must know each other, so he restrained her without applying too much force. Still, Ye Qian’s face flushed bright red.

Feeling her body lift off the ground and her breath faltering, she tried to kick Iron Bull, but found herself utterly powerless. Then her eyes met his—filled with intense hostility and a deadly aura.

“Put her down, don’t scare her!” Long Fei shouted, startled.

Iron Bull dropped Ye Qian onto the sofa, where she coughed hard. He stood protectively behind Long Fei, eyes wary of Ye Qian to prevent another attack. Gouzi closed the door, chuckling quietly while watching the drama unfold. His mind was sharper than Iron Bull’s—he clearly sensed the unusual relationship between Ye Qian and Long Fei and wisely chose to stay out of it.

“Don’t come any closer, or he might really hurt you!” Long Fei warned but didn’t check Ye Qian’s condition. In truth, she wasn’t injured. Iron Bull, though not the brightest, understood Long Fei’s strength. No fragile woman—or even the European assassin king, the Sun King—could make Long Fei flee. So Iron Bull only restrained Ye Qian to prevent any harm to Long Fei and certainly wouldn’t hurt her.

Ye Qian ground her teeth in anger but, glancing at the three men inside, slowly calmed down. She gave up trying to confront Long Fei in front of Iron Bull but cursed Iron Bull profusely in her mind.

“Hmph, I’ll settle the score with you later!” Ye Qian warned.

Long Fei didn’t fully believe her. “You mean it? No more trouble today?”

Ye Qian sneered, “You hired these two bodyguards. What can I do to you?”

Only then did Long Fei signal Iron Bull to step aside and sat down himself, chuckling: “Let me introduce my brothers—this is Iron Bull, and that’s Gouzi!”

Ye Qian nearly burst out laughing. She hadn’t expected Long Fei’s brothers to have such distinctive appearances and even unconventional names.

Gouzi immediately came over, sat beside Long Fei, leaned in, and grinned: “Brother Fei, you’re something else. Who’s this?”

Seeing Gouzi’s suggestive look, Long Fei smiled slyly: “Guess for yourself.”

“Heh, I can’t tell. But I’m guessing your relationship is... that kind, right?” Gouzi’s lecherous grin made Long Fei a little annoyed. Did he really have such poor judgment to pick a flat-chested woman? But it seemed true enough.

“Trust your Brother Fei’s taste, okay?” Long Fei said, frustrated.

Ye Qian was displeased hearing that and immediately snapped, “What do you mean? Want to back out? Am I not your girlfriend?”

“Ah?!” Iron Bull was a bit confused.

Gouzi burst out laughing: “So she’s the sister-in-law! And she’s really pretty, too!”

In this world, a sweet tongue in front of a woman never hurts. Gouzi’s flattery worked instantly; Ye Qian’s face brightened. “Gouzi brother’s got good eyes—unlike some people who don’t appreciate their blessings!”

God, being tangled with a woman like you is hardly a blessing, Long Fei almost cursed aloud.

But he stayed silent. Iron Bull spoke up, surprised: “Brother Fei, I’m even more confused. Wasn’t that sister-in-law last night too? Which one is the real sister-in-law?”

Long Fei nearly cried. Iron Bull, now’s not the time for silence; you’re not mute!

As expected, Ye Qian heard this and grew jealous, glaring fiercely: “Long Fei, were you out on a date with her last night?!”

“No, no! We just got back last night. The three of us brothers were drinking together! I swear!” Long Fei hurriedly explained, seeing Gouzi’s amused face and Iron Bull’s confused look. He added to Iron Bull: “Both are sister-in-laws! Both!”

“Nonsense! I’m the real one—original wife! She’s just the concubine for now!”

What a fierce Ye Qian, saying such things outright. Perhaps it was just a slip of the tongue in the heat of the moment.

The three men exchanged glances, all stunned by Ye Qian’s boldness.
